I am trying to compile the Example1.java, but my compiler can´t find the package: uk.ac.leeds..... The question is: do I have to make a PATH for the class. Ii did download the geotools-all0.8 Greetings Martin Blixt Student at University of Gävle (Sweden) PS: If I get it to work would it be possible to use the slaithwaite-concept in a case study for a GIS-Project. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: James Macgill (jmacgill) Date: 2002-02-23 08:46 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=9731 You need to have the geotools.jar file on your classpath when compiling. You can find it in the demonstrations/jars folder. javac -classpath jars/geotools.jar Example1.java should be all that you need. As for the Slaithwaite demo, feel free to use it in any way that you like. Unfortunately, however, I cannot send you a copy of the map data that was used in it because of licencing issues.
