[Geotools-gt2-users] Geotools and JAITools

Hi,
I've recently read the FOSS4G report by Simone about the state of the art
about raster management with Geotools, JAITools, and the rest of the family
:)
I'm a bit confused on the connections between Geotools and JAItools. There's
an unsupported jai-tools module untile 2.7.3 release [1], but in more recent
ones it isn't there anymore. I would like to know if it's been integrated in
aother modules, and if there are examples of JAItools usage with Geotools.
