[Geotools-gt2-users] dispalying feature on map

hello dear,
i want to display a specific feature of shapefile...in the map.....

example:
 if i have shapefile conating paths, and hving diffrent attributes of the
path e.g width of each path .....while displaying the map i also want the
width to be displayed on the map on each path....

so how do it....plz help...
