Hello José, I don't think you did anything wrong. I tried NetBeans myself this morning but had issues too. By referring to the maven NetBean tutorial on the geotools wiki I found the following note: [Note: at the time of writing (Jan 2009) there are bugs in the Geotools archetype and it fails to properly create the dependency elements in the pom.xml file. Until this is fixed it's easiest to use the manual editing method described above.] Here is also the link to the tutorial: [" http://communitymapbuilder.org/display/GEOTDOC/Welcome+to+NetBeans+developers "] When I did it from the command line, It worked but I had to change the ${jar-version} for each dependency to its real value ("2.6.2"). Somehow the variables were not read properly. Hope it works for you this time!
