[Geotools-gt2-users] Questions about GeoTools capabilities

Hello GeoTools developers, 
Please forgive my rudeness. Many of these questions are probably
answered already or in the documentation, but I am having some
difficulty.
I am a software developer working on a suite of applications that do
mission planning for an aircraft, data collection for that mission, then
data analysis. The map toolkit needs to support the following:
- Our target environment is somewhat old. It must run on Windows 2000,
service pack 4. Our domain model software is developed in Java 1.5.0_11.
The map toolkit must not be the master process, but rather should be a
toolkit that can be leveraged by our software.
- It must be able to display CADRG, DTED, VMAP, and DAFIF layers. 
- It must be able to allow our softare to draw geometric shapes. These
would be used to signify waypoints and information about the waypoint.
Circles, rectangles, and triangles are needed, as well as custom images
(JPEG) used to signify the position of the aircraft.
- It must be able to support multiple maps displayed simulaneously. At
least three maps are required. 
- The map(s) view must be able to shift while the center of the image
remains focussed on the aircraft's current position.
- It must be able to communicate to our software the global position of
user click events.
