Hi,
i apoligise for the confusion, the problem is the code. In one of the
posts i made ealier on,
http://n2.nabble.com/displaying-my-road-names-from-dbf-onto-my-shapefile-td3036516.html,
which had the same goal, aaime said "Write you own SLD, parse it with
SLDParser and use the Style object
generated in your map context"
I'm trying to do the last point that she said. But i didn't know what she
specifically meant by that so that is why i was looking at the geotools
guide for some inspiration and help which is why i made referrence to the
geotools link. Because, all i'm trying to do is really to display the road
names from my .dbf file onto my application. I don't know what the best or
standard way of doing these things is, but i'm trying to do my best and
following the guides that are available to me really. I have the sld file,
i've parsed it using sld parser but what is the next thing i need to do??
Hope it's a bit clearer this time.
Cheers
