[Geotools-devel] MapContext.setAreaOfInterest

Does this method get used much in GeoServer or elsewhere ?

The reason that I ask is that I'm doing a little more on the MapWidget
/ JMapPane code (on the branch) and I'm trying to decide if it's worth
going through this method and have objects associated with the map
pane (such as a status bar) listen for MapBoundsEvents, or whether to
just have a more direct relationship between the map pane and its
friends.

As an aside, this method has flummoxed people on the user list in the
past who expect it to do more than it does :)
