Yep, a user reported that blog this morning too.
I'm all for moving to the official EPSG code but there are two 
considerations to make:
* an updated to the latest EPSG version is needed. Any plan?
* we'll need to keep 900913 around anyways in GeoServer since
   we've been using it for many months, dropping it would cause
   many regressions.
