I'm finding myself a bit lost here, so need to confirm if the following was already discused: is there, or shouldn't be, a way of issuing a feature request which contains the geometry/coordinatesequence factory one want the datastore to use? I mean, this way a renderer could pass a geometry factory that performs decimation and even whose geometries implement Shape. By the other hand, if your'e going to do topology operations you can pass a default one or whatever. It would be just a matter of enforcing all datastores to rely on the geometry factory supplied by its client. was it already discused?
