[Geotools-devel] building geotools2-B2 on Mac OS X

Has anyone succeeded in building geotools2-B2 on Mac OS X? I was stymied 
by the dependency on JAI ImageIO (I was able to build all the modules of 
geotools2-B1, with the exception of gtopo30, with Java 1.4.2 on Panther 
10.3.2).

Given that JAI ImageIO is not currently available for Mac OS X, what are 
the prospects of using geotools2 on the Mac?
