Hello to all, and excuse me for a little-ot... i'm searching for a way to read arc/info coverage simple properties: basically, for any layer of information (Points, Arcs, Rasters, ecc...) i need to know the number of the objects in the layer and the attributes associated (the names and types, and optionally the values...). The only wait to manage "coverage" in geotools seems to be via GridCoverage (like GridCoverageReader - deprecated in 2.3.0, how changes the code?), but i think is only for raster data like ASCII grid or GeoTiff. Another way to read coverage seems to be via ogr (C++ code) and jgdal wrapper (http://projetsigle.free.fr/ressources/documentation/jgdal/api/jgdal/), but the results seems to be not consistent with the real information in the coverage... Any kind of experiences from Geotools users out there? Thanks a lor for any kind of support :) -- Diego Guidi My personal blog: http://lacorrente.blogspot.com My professional blog: http://blogs.ugidotnet.org/GisSharpBlog My NetTopologySuite: http://nts.sourceforge.net "Programming today is a race between the programmers and software engineers to create better and more idiot-proof programs, and the universe, creating bigger and better idiots.
