Message: A new issue has been created in JIRA. --------------------------------------------------------------------- View the issue: http://jira.codehaus.org/secure/ViewIssue.jspa?key=GEOT-19 Here is an overview of the issue: --------------------------------------------------------------------- Key: GEOT-19 Summary: unable to read mif files generated by OGR tool Type: Bug Status: Unassigned Priority: Major Time Spent: Unknown Remaining: 3 hours Project: GeoTools Components: mapinfo Fix Fors: 2.0-b2 Assignee: Reporter: James Macgill Created: Fri, 24 Oct 2003 10:25 AM Updated: Fri, 24 Oct 2003 10:25 AM Description: Using a mif file that has been created by converting a ESRI shapefile with the OGR tool an error occurs reading the ID attribute (numer type). The reason is that the addAttribute method trys to parse the value of the ID-Field as a double but the token passed to the method is like ',1,' ',2,' or ',34,' ... I'm not so familar with mif-format so I can't say if there is a bug in the MapInfoDataSource class or if the OGR-tool did something wrong. It's no problem to skip the comma before and after the numbers but I guess this won't be a realy good solution. --------------------------------------------------------------------- JIRA INFORMATION: This message is automatically generated by JIRA.
