GeoRaptor was not designed to be a GIS. Why would you want GeoRaptor to do this when there are other tools around that are designed to do this more effectively eg uDig?
To be considered, I need an actual list of functions and some use-cases. Snapping would probably push the friendship too far!
Again, I would need some funding for it via something like http://www.pledgebank.com/. You don't need to provide all the money, just be prepared to make a pledge if I decide to take on the work. Of course, if you can find someone else prepared to do this for nothing then we can sign them up as GeoRaptor developers.
