#47 Escape key should perform ‘Cancel current operation’

When data is drawing in the Spatial View the only way to stop it is by clicking on the red cancel button in the lower right corner. It would be good if the escape key performed this action.
This would be useful as it is usually necessary to 'zoom to whole area' after a layer is added to the Spatial View. For large layers it is not practical to wait for it to load. Instead I usually let it start to load, then click 'Cancel', then zoom to the features I'm interested in. Using the escape key will make this easier.
