Hi Jean Francois, GeoNetwork uses Lucene indexes for searching and presenting results. =20 This does not require connecting to the database, and therefor the =20 search performance depends on the speed of the Lucene indexes. Lucene =20= is known to handle millions of records, you should be able to find =20 tests on the web that analyze its performance. Only when presenting full metadata will GeoNetwork retrieve the =20 record from the DB.
