I am not a metadata specialist, thus I would like to know if someone else did already tried to use this profile. This profile is fully described here: http://wis.wmo.int/2010/metadata/version_1-2/ The document says: "The WMO Core Metadata Profile is a ‘type-1’ profile. This implies it only RESTRICTS the original standard and adds / amends Code Lists." Simon Pigot has already answered on GN-dev forum (he gave some general way to follow in order to develop some support for this format - many thanks for your help!). He also said that Timo Proescholdt had maybe developed some plugin for GN2.7. I tried unsuccessfully to get precisions from Timo. So: does someone have any information about all this stuff? (gn-dev thread is available here: http://osgeo-org.1560.n6.nabble.com/Metadata-in-quot-WMO-Core-Metadata-Profile-1-2-quot-an-extension-of-ISO-19115-2-19139-tt5015868.html) Thanks, Victor

|
