A very small set of OpenGIS interfaces can be browse online there: http://geoapi.sourceforge.net/javadoc/ Javadoc comments (including package.html files) are cut-and-paste from publicly available OGC specifications. Some edition were done for HTML output. Interfaces are generated by the script, then edited by hand. Edition includes fixing the javadoc comments (including @see and @link tags), fixing the method return type, adding custom tags for keeping trace of UML elements, etc. In some occasion, method name were edited. It was done in a consistent way for example when mapping UML "associations" to Java methods, because in Java "associations" are just ordinary methods. I tried to clearly flag any such cases with custom javadoc flag, so we can keep trace of them. For mapping UML elements to Java elements (including name change like adding "get" prefix in front of Java method), I followed the set of rules written down here: http://geoapi.sourceforge.net/javadoc/org/opengis/doc-files/UML-Java.html Please take a look to this page; it may be the most criticable part and actually an important one, since it drive the way I'm translating UML to Java. I plan to add more OpenGIS interface slowly, when I will have some time for some of them. Regards, Martin. |
