I've tried to export my simplest (as to me) tracks to SVG file with the half-of-A4 width size. In the terms of export SVG tools of IGB it means approximately 350-400 px width. SVG file is apparently broken in the result, Adobe Illustrator CS4 says: SVG file is broken. Corel Draw X6 tries to import it but displays only two VEEEEEERRYYYY long horizontal lines, Internet Explorer 11 shows empty page. Moreover, even at greater size and lesser zoom the arrows that are present at genes tracks are missing in SVG.

    Hello Youri,

My name is Mason Meyer, Technical Support Analyst for the IGB team. Thanks again for bringing your issue to our attention. The IGB team just released a new version of IGB that should fix your error. The new version is IGB 8.1.11.

Also, you may also want to experiment with the "PNG" file format when exporting images in IGB. You can adjust the DPI and also configure the image size. (Aspect ratio is fixed, however.)

Very soon we will post an update to the IGB User's Guide with tips on ways you can configure IGB to make figures for publications and slides.

Again, thanks for bringing this issue to our attention.

Please let us know if you experience other problems or if you have suggestions for ways to improve IGB.

    Sincerely,

    Mason Meyer
