Hardware requirements

PARSEC was tested on a 64bit server with unix based OS (Ubuntu). It should also work on a windows server after recompiling the native library it uses.
It is recommended to have two dozens of processor cores to optimize parallel search on chromosomes. To calculate minimum necessary RAM you should sum the size of all the genomes you plan to install on PARSEC and multiply it by three.

Supported browsers

PARSEC was successfully tested on Internet Explorer 9, Firefox 21, Safari 5, Chrome 27. It should also work on previous versions of these browsers.
