Second post in ten minutes - I'm a mooch. :(
The privacy flag in GEDCOM ... I'm not so sure what its suppost to
due, but if it could be set so as to prevent exporting of INDI's to
HTML or TEXT of GEDCOM's, that would be sweet! It would be
awesome to not have to make a separate file with living people cut
out if you could get mark them private or something. Perhaps they
could be exported as "SMITH, Living" with only a gender? Hope
this isn't out of line and easily doable! Thanks again for your great
and HELPFUL work :-)

    this is an excellent idea, but the privacy flag is not an appropriate way to do it if we are to remain true to the intent of the GEDCOM standard. the inteded use of this flag is to inform the recipient of a GEDCOM file that certain records have been ommited for privacy reasons. so it is not logical to have a privacy flag in a complete record. have to look into an aternative way of accomplishing this goal.
