Hi, everyone. I have a few items of business: 1) I'm interested in submitting an OBO-Edit 2.0 paper for the ISMB Bio-Ontologies meeting in July. I have very little time to do this, since abstracts are due on Tuesday, and the entire paper is due at the end of May. But I'd like to put together a short (4 page) paper outlining some unique OBO-Edit 2.0 features - I was thinking graph-based editing, incremental reasoning, and reasoner explanations. I'm interested to hear if people think this is a good idea, and if you do, if anyone is interested in working on this paper with me. If we decide to do this, it will be a lot of work, since I need to have a working OBO-Edit 2.0 beta release available when we submit the paper. But I think it will be worth it, and I think that these new features could attract a lot of new users to OBO-Edit. 2) I'd like to demo OBO-Edit 2.0 to the Working Group at our meeting this Friday so that everyone can see these new features of which I boast with such hubris. Can the resident WebEx maven contact me with details on how to set that up? -John |
