Category: InterPro mapping Group: InterPro Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: RFoulger (rfoulger) Assigned to: Amaia Sangrador (asangrador) Summary: IPR000342 GO mappings Initial Comment: I don't think IPR000342 should have the mapping: 'GO:0004871 signal transducer activity' since the RGS proteins stop signal transduction, and therefore don't pass the signal on. I've created a new GO (process) term, which would give a more accurate mapping: termination of G-protein coupled receptor signaling pathway ; GO:0038032 Let me know if you have any questions. GO:0038032 should be visible by tomorrow. Thanks, Becky ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Amaia Sangrador (asangrador) Date: 2011-09-16 14:42 Message: Hi Becky, We have a database freeze at the moment, but the GO annotation will be changed as you suggested as soon as we can annotate again.
