Geany 0.18 on Fedora 11 / Linux
It'd be nice to be able to configure the Editor Tab width from the default of 30.
I guess I'm use to the default tab width on Firefox, which appears to be around 12 characters.

Indentation tab width is configurable - see Editor: Indentation prefs tab.
Or did you mean something else?
He meant the amount of characters necessary before the main notebook tab label texts are ellipsized. It's currently hard-coded to 30 characters.
I think we could make it a hidden pref.
I TOTALLY agree max editor tab width should be made a hidden pref! :D
Attached is my use case, normally with tens more files open.
