When enabling the option "Preferences->Files->Replace tabs by space" the tabs in any edited file are replaced with spaces. This is great, other than it breaks a few certain file-types, such as makefiles.
There needs to be a way to disable this behavior, other than going to the preferences menu every time a makefile is edited.
BTW thanks for a great IDE.

Hi,
For now I would suggest you don't use this option, but simply indent with spaces instead of tabs.

I forgot to mention: for Makefiles when spaces are the default for indentation, you can still insert a tab by setting a shortcut for 'Insert alternative whitespace', or since Geany 0.13 you can set Document->Indent Type to tabs on a per-document basis.
