#957 Geany text rendering suboptimal on Windows XP

On Windows XP only with Geany 1.23, I'm finding the font rendering/hinting to be sub-optimal for every font available. Compared to SciTE 3.3.1, the result is drastically different. Perhaps Geany is not leveraging ClearType properly in this specific instance.
Below is a screenshot, with as similar a comparison as I can get between Geany on the Left and SciTE 3.3.1 on the Right

I am using the GTK that comes with the windows installer

    SciTE and Geany don't use the same rendering code on Windows, SciTE uses the Windows port of Scintilla, while Geany always uses the GTK one. You may want to report this issue against Scintilla.
