Subject: Re: [Gdcm2] what does 'X' mean in the tag group/element value Hi Scott, This is correct that Curve Data have been removed, however only *even* group are allowed. Def is in ps 3.5: 7.6 REPEATING GROUPS ... Repeating Groups shall only be allowed in the even Groups (6000-601E,eeee) and even Groups (5000- 501E,eeee) cases. In the future, Data Elements with VRs of SQ shall be used to serve a similar purpose. See PS 3.6 2009. At the time I believe there was a requirement that the xx had to be replaced with a sequential set of numbers starting at 01. I'm not definite about that. > > -- Scott > > -----Original Message----- > From: Mathieu Malaterre [mailto:mat...@gm...] > Sent: Thursday, June 24, 2010 3:30 PM > To: Scott Johnson > Cc: Pareto, Charles; gdc...@li... > Subject: Re: [Gdcm2] what does 'X' mean in the tag group/element value > > No. Charles is right, DICOM define changing group DICOM attributes. > For instance you can store an Overlay in group 6000, then the next one > in group 6002...
