it would be funky to try to create a MF instance where fragments have different properties: different image dimensions would be funky different image compression (eg JPEG and RLE) * different codec (eg JPEG lossy and JPEG lossless)
another nasty would be a J2K mix of tiles: 3 tiles with MCT and one with MCT:OFF 3 tlies with lossless and one with lossy
