I'd like to thank all the replies so far, I'll reply generically as I realised I was going to reply to each mail (both list and private) and I had 5 emails open at once. I believe that based on the multiple replies so far the problem relates to me not concatinating the changes, I'm just starting to code the mods in now. Thanks all. The math class is under very heavy modification right now, the sqrt, sin, cos for example is to replaced by LUT's, most of the functions you pointed out arn't even used, I have a horrible habit of collecting code from webboards that is 'the fastest' and using it without proper understanding. :) and yes I have a few typo's in there. I was planning on creating a test rig soo n to actually test them for correctness and speed. So, I should look at David Eberly's orthonormalisation code to ...'contain' the numerical accuracy problem? I was wondering about how I would actually normalise a matrix, I was going to do a peicewise vector normalise as it was the only thing I could think of. As a matter of interest is anyone able to offer a whole matrix class that should work in the manner I expect for me to pull apart? Peirre, or anyone, is there a simple math library like what I'm aiming at that works only with single precision around that anyone knows of(or could offer). I already have David Eberly's... Many thanks to all Chris [:) And I still apologise for the HTML] |
