Thanks Hugh.
I missed that LPGL somewhere cause all I saw was the GPL.
Your statement about its use is very clear and I suggest that be added to the main GCB website under a "License" menu item.
If we can get more professionals using GCB and sharing library updates then we have potential to grow the GCB community much bigger.
I know of companies who won't touch Arduino for the GPL reasons yet they want a way to simplify or speed up development. The fact GCB produces such pure assembly code makes it easier to debug and understand what the compiler is doing. Many high priced compilers don't do this as they hide macros and other libraries in protected files which makes it difficult to find bugs caused by the compiled code.

I think this topic is worthy of ongoing discussion. I'd like to suggest that one of the Admin's split this thread and add it to a new thread under "Open Discussion" titled something like "GCB with Arduino"

This is an interesting topic that I think deserves its own thread. Can one of the Admins please split this thread and move this conversation under "Open Discussion" to a new thread named something like "GCB with Arduino"?

I cannot split threads. Sorry.
