Just thought I'd better let the developers know that Panda AV online scanner is flagging GCB (latest V95.009) with a false (presumably) positive as Malware. Hopefully this in not just my machine! I just happened to try their online scanner yesterday and was very surprised that it came up with GCB. Anyway, I'm sure it's just like some of the other false-positives that I've seen. I would think that if the GCB team contact Panda, that it can be sorted out. I would have preferred to contact one of the team directly rather than posting here, but don't know how (Feel free to remove this post!). In case anybody new to GCB is reading this, I don't believe GCB is malware, it's a good program with a lot of good people who put good work into it, I'm just reporting this to the developers so they can sort out the mistake that the AV company has made.

I just downloaded and installed the latest version of Panda Free AV (17.0.1). I have had no issues with false detection of any GCB files. I also scanned the GCB@Syn Folder and again no problems.
Panda has several tools that could be considered an "Online scanner". We need to know what exact tool you used. Please provide a link to the tool that you used along with the information that Evan requested.

I had already uninstalled the Panda scanner, so I downloaded it again and ran it and again it came up as Malware, but I noticed it was actually GCGB. I'll attach a screen-shot this time.!
This issue is isolated to Panda Cloud Cleaner 1.9, I get the same false positive using this cleaner,
File in question is : "Great Cow Graphical Basic.exe"
Current versions of Panda Free and Panda Pro do not report this file as Malware. It is likely that Panda Cloud Cleaner is using a different/older method or different older/definition files.
Suggestion: Ignore this false positive if using Panda Cloud Cleaner 1.9.

Thank you for this. Can you please let me know the offending file? What is being reported?
We register with all virus checking companies prior to release - so, this is a puzzle to me.
I need the detailed report. Please post as a attachment.

I didn't take too much notice as I was busy doing other things, but I've looked it up and it was Panda Cloud Scanner found at this link http://www.pandasecurity.com/usa/support/card?id=1674

Yesterday I tried to download GCB_Installer-95.exe three times but Norton keeps deleting it claiming the site's download reputation is bad.
Thanks,
Chris
Can you provide us the URL to whitelist site? we can contact them directly.
And, tomorrow there is a new release.... come back tomorrow. :-)
Sorry about not promptly responding. Evidently I didn't have email notifications checked in my profile. Hopefully I've now corrected that.
Anyway, I finally downloaded it successfully and I'm not sure which download link (there were many) that caused the problem.
Thank you.
Chris
