My first project using GCBasic is an intrusion alarm and I do have one (And possibly more) suggestion(s).
1- I have built my first computer in May 1976 (Yeah, I am old)
2- I was a project engineer for a company that produced Car Starters and Alarms + other misc. devices.
I started in 1983. The staff included an owner, shipper and an installer to test new devices.
I left in 2001 with a staff of over 50. In the beginning, the company sold 4,000 units when I joined.
When I left, we were selling over 250,000 units from October to December - It is mostly a seasonal item.
I started working on up to 14 variant for different retailers in September and be done by end of October.
3- At the company, I switched from the Motorola Microcontroller to the newest Microcontroller manufacturer "Microchip" I've written my own Basic to Assembler translator for the first Microchips processors. Our company was known by the Microchip CEO as the largest users of Microchip controllers on the east coast of North America. The CEO came to us to see how we were operating and offered any assistance we needed.
4- I've written Basic to C translators for the Android machines (For my own use) - Have written other programming languages like FORTH and other tools. My favorite language is Visual Basic 6.1
SO, this is my suggestion:
My Alarm project consists of a main program file "Alarm.gcb" as well as 9 .h Include and Insert files. One of which is the Subroutines.h file which I constantly interact with and, when I do, I always press the F5 function to compile but always receive an error that "Subroutines.gcb" does not exist so, I return to the main program to compile.
ADD a #COMPILE directive to specify which file to compile, example: #Compile "Alarm.gcb" to be added in all external support files.
Another option would be to add it into the main file and the compiler would make it the default, without having to add the directive in all files.

@angel-spartan
Is the #compile something that can be resolved in GCCODE ?
Thanks
If it can be resolved in GCCODE, how is this done?
We need @angel-spartan for this one.
