Anybody using this as an easy way to do Ethernet?
    It can:
    Support Hardwired Internet protocols
: TCP, UDP, WOL over UDP, ICMP, IGMPv1/v2, IPv4, ARP, PPPoE
    Support 4 independent SOCKETs simultaneously
    Supports half/full duplex operation
    Support SOCKET-less command
    ARP-Request, PING-Request
Support Ethernet Power down mode & Main Clock gating for power save
Support Wake on LAN over UDP
Supports high speed SPI Interface (SPI mode 0/3), Parallel System Bus with 2 Address signal & 8bit Data
Internal 16Kbytes Memory for TX/ RX Buffers
    10BaseT/100BaseTX Ethernet PHY Integrated
Support Auto Negotiation (Full and half duplex, 10 and 100-based )
    Supports Wake On LAN
Support Auto-MDIX only when Auto-Negotiation mode
    3.3V operation with 5V I/O signal tolerance
Interfaces with two 2.54mm pitch 1 x 10 header pin

Apologies, I did not copy the image correctly - did not come across.

I have used the WIZ107 and the Microchip equivalent.

There may better devices available. Something with WIFI and serial interface.

OK Evan, what would be your suggestion? Would like both wired and wireless modules if at all possible.
Looks like the WIZ750SR might work well - wired ethernet.
    Regards.

I don't know a specific module but there has to be then the low level Wiznet products.

I think we need to some research to get a good answer.

I have the compatible Wiz107b. It has provided great service for many years. It still provide UDP services for remote sensor ( using PICAXE... so, that must be pre 2015 ( ish).

The BAS attached. Read the temp sensor and then sends an XML data stream to the 107. Then, a remote PC UDPs to the 107, gets the XML and handles the temperature data. :-)

Thanks Evan, I will look into it.
I have used USR-TCP232-T2 in another project for UDP exploration however, this module looks to be better - I think.

I have ordered 2 of the WIZ750SR-TTL: TTL Version from Mouser and will attempt to get 2 boards to send/receive data between them.

Changed my mind - going to roll my own using a Wiznet W5100S-L and a LPJD0110BANL transformer ethernet connector.
