Why do I feel bad?, it feels like I am throwing stones at a process which I had no participation in. Have never made a website, used html, or other website tools, my apologies.
I agree with Joe on making GCB as the main focus and should be promoted before GCBGB.
Here goes, I love pictures but I feel the picture slide show has no context in how they relate to GCB or GCBGB. Being a long timer user of GCB, of course I know exactly what is going on, but not for the first time visitor or inexperieced user? So demote in priority or use individual pics in subheadings for IDE screenshots, code example(s), projects, GCBGB screen shot etc.
The picture show takes up Primary real estate that should be used to get across the main mission statement (very short, direct, and to the point) then get right to the good stuff GCB IDE and the GCB syntax OR even better GCB syntax then GCB IDE?
I would want to know on the first page view what GCB will do for me, Arduino C comparisons or not, and how it will make my life easier coding (i.e lots of librarys and demsonstration code).

Do not fell bad. This is the purpose of getting a draft site published.
I am not a graphic artist (far far from it) so, we what is needed is actual photos or a layout for the photos. What four photos get the context across?
What would the idea front page look like? Create a draft in terms messages and then we can figure out what adapations to make.

Getting like a commitee.
First it's FREE!
Get across what GCB is-- fast compiler for 8bit microchip pic and 8bit AVR
A real compiler..not interpreted
Basic for those familiar with and unfamiliar with C ie Arduino users.
Graphical gcb also the same for whatever...not visual basic
I think a picture says etc. but a video says more than words. NOTE if I can attatch a photo from my camera the video from it should attatch. no need for youtube. why didn't I think of that?
A video of pwm on a scope and a motor shows a lot. Seen it before but using GCB idea.

Yes, the Slideshow was the earliest thing I created.
In my opinon it's a Eve Catcher, we can exchange Pictures of course I see this pragmatic.
The first draft had nearly nothing but some links and the Slidshow on the Home Page.
Exchanging them to smaller ones with 3-5 words sentences might be a solution? The Idea Higlighting parts of the Syntax has some charme. To bad we could not do a poll here in the Forum for it.

I don't know the exact solution for the slideshow. But some verbage along side or overlay? on the pics would help I think. That is what I meant earlier, by having some context.
The first LCD one brings into the focus how simple the GCB programing and syntax is. So, wording might be "GCB Free and Fast Compiler" or "Easy to use GCB@Syn IDE" or ?
The GCGB icon slide might be "GCGB icon based editor" or ?
The robot slide might be "User based projects & guides"
The glcd slide might be "Extensive GCB and GLCD libraries"
And so on.

I think it should go back the way it was, the changes now make a
distracting animation moving right to left composed of a picture that is to
small to see.
Good Morning Fellows! You want the Cow back? Well the Cow is back! :-)
The Slideshow was drastical minimized, and reduced in physical size as well, so the load time is even faster.
The Cow will vanish on Display with not to much size, I can tuning this a bit, but there is a compromise between pro and cons, let's see how it works.
I like the Cow!
Now at Weekend I will go further with the news and rss system, stay tuned, and many thanx for comments and compliments and critics as well!

If you examine what we have written we have most of this covered.
Updated or replacement paragraphs is what we really need to update the draft.
For some people it's a hobby and it's supposed to be fun. I think we shouldn't forget that :(

Another look at a cow, courtesy of the Holstein Association :)
For anyone who wants it, here is a very large version of the cow icon. I forget why I have a copy this large, but it's useful for shrinking down.

@Kent. I am with you. We should edit the pictures to add some words. We can do this! Nice words - easy peasy. (Is the right Bed? :-) )
I think it should go back the way it was, the changes now make a
distracting animation moving right to left composed of a picture that is to
small to see.

Hugh, This is a cow.
I like the Calf-Cow!
Great Cow BASIC needs a modern Logo, in my opinon.
Nice and not to offend anyone
"A modern logo" . Hmm. With a cow in there somewhere...interesting.
