GraphCalc'ers, It is with extreme pleasure that I announce the release of version 4.0 beta of GraphCalc. Please check out http://www.graphcalc.com for more information, and as always, don't hesitate to contact the user community at gca...@li... if you have any questions. -Mike Arrison GraphCalc Developer |

Dear GraphCalc Users/Developers, I have been working hard lately on updating the Windows port of GraphCalc with a few minor fixes and working very hard on establishing a QT/Linux port for future development. Sourceforge's anonymous cvs system is having some problems updating at the moment, but I anticipate the release should be ready by the end of the week. Stay tuned. -Mike Arrison |

I was thinking factorial (completely different). Anyway, GraphCalc doesn't currently have a factor feature, and I'm not sure how the "fact(x)" function made it into the catalog. Either it should come out of the catalog or the function should be implemented. I'm filing a bug for this, and we'll see what I can do about it. -Mike Arrison |

I think it would be very helpfull if your program showed the horizontal or vertical asymtops of an equation when graphing :). Btw: I think your program is totally awesome better the looking at a TI :) ===== Vinay Anantharaman __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! When i plug in a small number like 0.0001, this seems to correct as the answer narrows into 1. But when i try a number really small, like 0.000000000000001, the answer suddenly jumps up. Chase, While the product GraphCalc is still being used very heavily, the development has come to a standstill. I'm playing around from time to time, but nothing serious. A couple of people are playing around with some ports to Linux and Mac, but again, nothing serious. Feel free to use any parts of GC you like, or start from scratch :) -Mike Arrison On Sun, Jul 27, 2003 at 01:41:03AM +0000, Chase Bradford wrote: > How active is development on GraphCalc right now? How active is development on GraphCalc right now? I'm just curious because for the past few months I have been working on one of my own, but seeing as you already have a working form with open source, I think it may be better if I direct my efforts towards this and hopefully help it along. However, if the project is practically dead, which I hope isn't the case, I don't see any reason in wasting time.
