[Gc-linux-devel] Kernel Source Questions

I have a few questions Im wondering if anyone can answer. First of all where 
can I obtain the latest version of the Kernel Source code? 2nd What OS would 
be suggested to compile this source code?

The anonymous CVS or (not always updated, but sometimes more recent 
than the anonymous CVS) gc-linux.org/down/linux.tar.gz

Linux.
