I just helped mist on IRC to get NFS working with a quick workaround:
nfsroot=blah,rsize=1024,wsize=1024.
Decreasing the window sizes will temporarily work around your problems
until we can fix the driver.
btw Hi, I just signed up and will go buy a Gamecube. (I am a PowerPC
developer working on 405D Xilinx Virtex II Pro).
