Hi,
I found that when reopening my existing project, I
cannot change the dependencies for certain tasks. I
can draw the connection but it is not accepted. Even
when going via the 'task properties' menu, I can add
the predecessor but it is not accepted: the line is not
drawn and when lookin g at the predecessor list, the
newly added task is not there any more...
Only way out is to unlink the task completely and start
from scratch.

I think it happens because you are creating a dependency
loop. Are there any exceptions in console?

I have the same problem - yes a looping error comes up in
the console and the link is still in the .gan file however
it does not display and is not used in the timeline
calculation. I have a file I could attach but am not sure how.
I have the release candidate for 2

That's also my problem. Some tasks refuse to make links to
other tasks and after unlinking and relinking all the tasks,
it's working again.
Another observation:
If linking A to B does not work, linking B to A works.
And a further observation:
If I have more tasks than would fit on the screen and a
scrollbar is seen, this happens: If I try to create a link
from some task to another, not even an "rubber" arrow is
drawn from the first task. Just nothing happens.
I don't believe, that it has to do something with a loop
error because:
(without any predecessors) to the first task of a group of
linked tasks?
Are there any unknown restrictions, which tasks can be
linked and which not?
As linking tasks is a main feature of this program, it's a
real pity, that such a basic feature doesn't work correctly.

ARE THERE ANY EXCEPTIONS IN CONSOLE?
Is there any precise reproducible scenario?
