Welcome to Gannu Wiki!

Gannu is a Java API, command line and graphical tools for performing the following AI tasks:

  • [Word Sense Disambiguation][] (Released!).
  • [Global Optimization][] (50% of the library completed).
  • [Text Wikification][] (50% of the library completed).
  • [Opinion mining][] (Design phase).

Gannu exists for allowing researchers of different areas to perform experiments in an easy way. Its two main goals are: (1) being a good benchmark for testing new algorithms for computer science researchers, and, (2) serving as a way of letting other researchers to know your original algorithms. Also, we are going to create some web sites for letting all people using final AI tools.

Gannu was created as an effort of allowing my fellow PhD student friends to easily getting start on their projects and to share everyone research for generating collaborative effort. Hence, Gannu exists only for academic purposes.
