We've been trying to use CgFX with OpenGL and it simply doesn't feel like it's usable. The lack of documentation, not being able to compile effects offline, lack of good error reporting, and bugs in general render it almost useless. Am I missing something? As much as I hate to say this, HLSL and DirectX seem like a much better way to go for PC development.
