In fact, IndieGameJam1 used similar one (your shadow is your input). And in fact, we already have the technology required to extract human motions/poses from optical camera data. Too bad that this technology is priopretaty of the company I work at; and I don't have right to develop another one for non-competition reasons :( If not that, we would have used computer vision in the very first LTGameJam...
