It depends on what you are using it for and who will write the scripts. Personally I've always thought that if I needed a scripting language I'd just use Small and hack it a little so that it could use a FuBi style interface to external compiled code. The only down side is that Small is C-like so programmers would be writing the scripts. That's how it should be IMO.
