Subversion and a Linux server sounds like a cheap alternative.  As soon as I
get my Linux box up, I'll try it out.  I would install it on a Windows XP
box, but I can't afford to install XP Service Pack 1.  Perhaps I too will
someday be able to afford Windows servers :P
