Essentially I guess vs.net is doing it at the low level. It's probably doing it because apps with lots of child windows that are not really child windows (like vs.net does) has problems with activating a window and the app not bringing everything to the front. Unfortunately I know the cause, but I can't recommend a solution :( -----Original Message----- From: Dan Glastonbury [mailto:dgl...@pi...] Sent: 04 December 2003 10:08 To: gam...@li... Subject: [GD-Windows] VS .NET conflict with focus follows mouse G'Day, Coming from X Windows in my deep, dark days, I'm fond of having focus follow mouse. This way I can overlap windows, reading something from one window, whilst typing in another. But with this feature enabled, VS .NET automatically raises to the top of the window stack as soon as the cursor is over the VS .NET window. I have the auto raise turned off, and VS .NET is the only app that does it. Does anyone know how to turn this feature off? (Is there some registry key I can modify?) thanks DanG ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: SF.net Giveback Program.
