By the way, my original comment was supposed to be "we also DID NOT take it into account..." otherwise it makes no sense :-) When I think of HDTV in consoles I'm mostly thinking of 480p, which is not that huge a step up performance-wise but looks great on all widescreen TVs. Maybe 720 would be doable, but I agree that 1080i is just a killer. Both the fill rate and the sheer amount of memory required is huge. --Noel |
