Hmm, (ponders NDA for a moment), nope, AFAIK, Insomniac didn't use GOAL.
Personally, I think they (ND) were a little loopy to even try it. The PS2
already has a very steep learning curve without trying to make it lean back
on itself. I also have to wonder how things would have been different it
they'd put a similar amount of effort into improving and extending gcc.

I imagine if Andy Gavin had written the article, it might have had a
slightly different color to it with regards to GOAL. Kind've hard to
ignore the language when one of your co-founders is major Lisp fanatic,
and it's been used in all your previous games... : P
IIRC Mario 64 also made extensive use of Lisp (Allegro CL).
Considering how buddy-buddy Insomniac is with Naughty Dog, I'd imagine
that Ratchet & Clank might leverage it as well...
