This doesn't really help, since you're still limited by texture size. The key is whether you're going to scale your graphics or not to meet the screen res. If you do scale it up, then you're effectively dealing with a fixed resolution GUI (not necessarily bad, just doesn't take advantage of the increased resolution to provide either higher resolution or more usable area). > Another possible easy option is to do the interface in 3D, especially if > you are running the GUI over a 3D engine anyway. |
