[GD-General] XML Parser

I've been using Expat for quite a while to parse my documents. I've now come to the point where I need to start writing data back in to my XML documents. 

I've had a quick look around but all I've managed to find is Xerces, which seems to be so massive that I'm finding it dificult to understand(besides the fact that the DLL way larger than the rest of my application).

Anyone have suggestions for a lightweight XML parser + Writer?
