It's interesting (at least to me) that you find that sort of environment so efficient. Obviously your approach works very well for you. Do you know of other people who work the same way? Is it an apporach you've been using a long time or it still evolving? Note, I'm not suggesting that Windows is the magic efficiency bullet, or that you should even consider using it. I'm just interested because that sort of approach doesn't seem efficient to me at all.
