This won't nessearily work, because it implies that all users have admin
rights. You suggest that only the installer needs admin rights, but if the
installer puts it in HKLM, and adds it to the start menu for everyone, the
program won't load for Users, because the program won't be able to find it
in HKCU, and it will try HKLM, which will get it an access denied...

You could just have the installer put a copy of it in everyone's HKCU
somehow, but that doesn't solve the high scores problem...

I think your best bet is the common docs folder, or an internet high scores.
