I was at the Verizon store two months ago (yes, a geological era) helping my
housemate shop for a phone.  They were pushing the A670 hard, and it's what she
ended up buying (even though I tried to convince her that she'd be better of
with a distinct digital camera).  She got it for something like $89 after the
rebate.

It was one of maybe four Get It Now devices that they had dedicated displays
for, and they said you should buy it if "you like to take pictures".  The thing
that really shocked me was they said you should buy the Nokia 3589i if "you
like playing games".
